Course Description

This course provides an advanced and integrated understanding of corporate governance and e-governance within both private and public sector contexts. It examines the theories, principles, frameworks, and global best practices that underpin effective governance systems, accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership. Students will critically analyze governance structures, board dynamics, stakeholder relationships, and regulatory environments using established theoretical lenses such as agency theory, stewardship theory, stakeholder theory, and institutional theory. The course further explores the role of digital technologies in transforming governance through e-governance initiatives, including digital service delivery, open government, data governance, and smart governance systems. Students will develop strategic and analytical skills to design, evaluate, and lead digital transformation initiatives in government and corporate settings.
